As we’ve mentioned, our only mission is to actually help, and the first step towards that is to provide helpful, insightful, and easy-to-achieve or incorporate strategies to actually move forward. Nowadays, there are tons of self-improvement websites to look at. You could even ask AI. But no matter where you’re looking, they all have something in common: providing and explaining the exact same strategies.
So where exactly is the problem with every single one of them presenting the same methods, you may ask. Couldn’t that mean that there is this one very particular working way that just fits everyone? No. Definitely not. Telling people who hate staying still to just meditate, silently and without moving. Telling people who enjoy and value being alone more often than not that they need to go out and live their life instead of “wasting” it inside. Telling people who are calm and quiet that they need to be louder or the ones who are loud that they need to be quieter. All of that just because that’s the socially accepted, no, idealized norm? We think that is not right.
Self-improvement is about loving yourself, moving to a state of happiness within. There are different things, activities, and people that make each and every one of us happy, that brighten your day. Stop forcing yourself into a way of life you only chose because it’s depicted as the “right” one, the “ideal” one, the “perfect” one. You are the only one that can decide what is right or wrong, what is ideal or what is perfect when it comes to you. Forcing yourself will leave you having a hard time accomplishing the tasks you’ve given yourself and lead to you talking yourself down for failing to do something that does not represent you or your likings. Sounds undesirable already? That’s a good start.
Whatever you decide to do, or not to do for yourself, should be something that will eventually lead you to a place of higher self-esteem. And if you just yet don’t know if something is right for you, just try! Find your path and decide along the way by experiencing it.
